Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog. How are you guys? I hope you are in good shape and taking care of your health. I want to share my learning this time about "Descriptive Text" taught by Mrs. Fatma. Let's read to the end.




What is meant by descriptive text?
Description text contains a description of a certain object, place, or event so that the reader can feel, see, smell, and hear it. Usually the object described can be in the form of inanimate objects, places, as well as humans and other living things.
Structur descriptive text
descriptive text has 2 structures namely:
  •  identification: to identify the object under discussion
  • description: to describe the characteristics of objects that have been described in the text, objects must be explained in as much detail as possible so that the characteristics of objects can be clearly depicted in the reader's mind.
 Characteristic descriptive text

There are 3 things that must be in the text, namely using:
  •  Adjectives: to explain or describe an object, we can use adjectives or adjectives.
  • Simple present tense: the tenses  used are simple present tense,namely tenses that use the first form of the verb 1(V1) 
  • Using pronouns: pronouns are a type of generic noun that can represent any other noun.
