Definition :

A good description of a 'place' helps to explain what makes it so different from other 'places' and can give a good guide as to where it is located. A description can be divided into two parts: the Physical features and the Human features.

1.     Vocab : 

The noun vocabulary ( or vocab for short ) refers to the words used in a language .

  2.     Word Order : 

Word order is a standard arrangement of words to form a sentence that has a complete meaning.

a.      She baked Portuguese egg tarts. 

b.      They found nothing.

c.      Dini and her family love cats. 

Word Order Type :

Ø  Subordinate Clauses

 In subordinate clauses, word order is the same as in simple affirmative sentences (Conjunctions are often used between 2 clauses)

Example:  I will tell you the story at school tomorrow because I don't have time now.

Ø  Position of Time Expressions

It can be said that time expressions are descriptions of time, such as: now, recently, yesterday, etc. In this form adverbs of time are usually placed at the end of the sentence, such as: I will tell you the story tomorrow.

Example : Tomorrow I will tell you the story

Ø  Inverted word order

Inverted word order is a condition where the verb appears before the subject.

The Semawis Market begins with the Chinese New Year Market. Semawis Market is a legendary hawker center. This semawis market is located in the waru alley, Chinatown, Semarang. The semawis market or Chinatown village is a blend of tourism, religion, culture and culinary. The majority of the population is Chinese or tinghoa.
The Semawis market has many pagodas that are hundreds of years old. One of the famous pagodas in the Chinatown area is the “Tay Kak Sie” pagoda. The Semawis Chinatown market area has become a part of the ethnic Chinese which is adjacent to the city of Semarang. The atmosphere at the Semawis market night will be decorated with lots of red lanterns and add an aesthetic impression. The environmental conditions in Semawis are quite clean.

When we enter the Semawis market, there are lots of food stalls selling various types of halal and non-halal food. Some of the food at the Semawis market is typical of Semarang, such as dreadlocked tofu, chicken rice, spring rolls, and others. For drinks, there are Thai tea, peanut porridge, gempol ice, and so on. Culinary in Semawis is fairly complete. Some are typical of the archipelago and some are typical of the international. Semawis Market also provides tables and chairs for visitors who will eat or hang out. Each stand will provide a trash can to dispose of the food wrappers to keep the environment clean. Every night there must be musical accompaniment from live music. This market is only held on weekends, namely Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 18.00 to 23.00. The later at night, the more crowded the visitors. Apart from culinary delights, the Semawis market also provides stands selling accessories, clothes, toys and so on .
